On June 18–19, 2026, as part of the Know-Your-Rights series, the “Youth Know Your Rights” seminar took place in Kremenchuk (Poltava region) under the Trade Union Lifeline Initiative (TUL).
The seminar brought together 25 young members of the State Employees Union of Ukraine. The agenda primarily highlighted trade unions’ role as key defenders of workers’ rights and the importance of union membership. Ivanna Khrapko led this segment. A separate session, facilitated by Dmytro Dibrov, Chairman of the regional youth union council, and Ivanna Khrapko, addressed youth policies in collective bargaining and strategies to promote youth membership. Additionally, Anna Puhachova conducted a session on AI in public service, exploring both its opportunities and challenges.
In response to ongoing requests from union members in cities affected by Russian attacks, trainers from Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostroradskyi National University organized a standalone first aid training.
The Know Your Rights event series is yet another TUL effort aimed at strengthening union members’ capacity to defend their labor rights and increasing their role in the labor movement as a whole by equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills.
